Once upon a time, I was bored by white. The more color the better. And around age 13, the more purple the better! 😉 But as my eye has grown and matured, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the purity and peace of white. It calms us, brings shadows and textures to life and provides a place of rest in a saturated world. Would you like to join me on a little mini-vacay from color today?
Ahh.. don’t we all feel calm & relaxed now? Have a wonderful, peaceful weekend, Artsies! Be sure to check out the artists’ websites for more loveliness.

Exquisite photos!
Thanks for visiting, Diana!
These white images are really lovely!
Glad you enjoyed them, Kelly!
Would like to invite you to visit my site and see my work!
Interesting work, Kelly!
I tend to think the more color the better, but these white pieces are lovely! Especially Burqa. It looks like an exotic sea creature you would find during a snorkeling adventure.
Lesley – I have been through the same “phases” in life about color. I had a lavender bedroom when I was a teenager (lol). We are at our cabin this weekend. I painted every wall and ceiling white. Even the floors are an off white color. I do have color in the cabin but it is in my moveable objects ie: artwork, furniture, and fabrics. I usually use a lot of color in my projects, especially on the walls but in this case I chose white because the cabin is very small ( +/- 700 sq ft). Visit the website to see how I used white. http://Www.chocolatemoosellc.com
I was never completely happy with my last home until all the walls were painted a neutral off-white. It really surprised me, but I truly loved how calming and peaceful an environment it created and all my artwork, wood furniture and colorful accessories really shined against the neutral backdrop.
Your cabin is adorable, Susan! So many lovely little details and that porch is heavenly! I love the little pink painting above the bed, who is the artist?
Gorgeous, gorgeous pieces. I can tell I am going to be spending a lot of time here!!
Glad you stopped by, Lisa! 🙂
Love the pieces and love white!!! Shayna Liebs work is incredible! So fluid and organic. They would be beautiful in any colour but the white gives it a delicacy and purity. Thank you for introducing me to this fabulous work!
Glad you enjoyed them, Joanne! Be sure to check out Shayna’s website for more beautiful work– she has more colorful work, but the white is my favorite. http://www.shaynaleib.com
